Good evening America. Eleven months ago, I inherited a mess, and I'm fixing it.
I think this quote from Trump is pretty funny but it sums up my year pretty well.
At the start of 2025 I was pretty sure that I was cooked, I had gotten into NYU at that point already but outside of that there were a lot of things that were not going well. But now, I took care of most of the problems and I'm pretty optimistic about the future.
One thing I think I did well this year is that I took risks and seized opportunities that presented themselves to me. And this is what I want you to continue doing in 2026, whether it's things I already started for you or brand new opportunities that you find, I want you to take risks and go for it.
Keep this image in mind, if you never fuck around, you'll never find out and you'll forever be stuck at the same spot. Go fuck around.
2026 is the year that a lot of my projects and things I'm working will launch. I don't want to give any spoilers and specifics in case they fail because then I would look really stupid. I hope it all works out, but if it doesn't it's ok too. I saw this from somewhere and I really like what it's trying to say.
If you were 30 failures away from your goal, how fast would you want to fail?
So yeah, please follow through with my projects, I wouldn't take them on if I didn't see a real opportunity in them. With that said, please do things that actually interests you. If you start a startup that is just filled with the most current popular buzzwords and serves 0 purpose and has no future, for example an app that is an "AI B2B SaaS that utilizes blockchain technology" I will beat the shit out of you, I will literally find a time machine, go to the future, find you, and beat your ass. Don't do an AI B2B SaaS.
I don't have much else to say, I guess by this time next year you're either a millionaire or back to square 1 with a drained savings account, obviously I would prefer the first one, but if the second option ends up happening then the "To Me In 2027" letter is gonna look very different.
I don't know where to put this so I guess I'll do this here.
GOALS FOR 2026:
- Visit all 50 states
- Wear my T-Rex costume 2 times
- Make new friends (At least 10)
- Try 100 new restaurants
- Not get fired
- Read 3 Books
- Volunteer at a dog shelter
- Continue writing the blogs
- Learn to make a beef wellington
- Take more pictures
- Shoot some guns at a gun range
- Go kayaking
- Make a big snowman
- Be able to hold a simple conversation in ASL
- Update my progress in a blog every month
This will probably be my last blog in 2025, I've been busy with finals and my projects so I didn't write anything new this month, I'm also working on a blog talking about prediction markets and gambling but I'm pretty busy right now and I'm not sure how long that would take. So I guess I will see you guys next year, Merry Christmas.
