How are you doing?
I'm not sure when you'll be reading this, it could be a month from now, a year from now, or even ten years from now.
Right now as I'm writing this, I'm doing pretty well. I'm currently working on finishing this website and after I finish this I'll start working on my dev portfolio website. Do my websites still exist? I hope so, I spent a lot of time on it. Or maybe it doesn't even matter to you anymore, I guess that would be a good thing since that means you've moved on to bigger and better things.
I hope you've taken chances and gone down the road less traveled, do you remember that you wanted to study abroad in Europe? I really hope you'd gone for it, even if there is push back from your family (they push back on every aspect of your life anyway). More importantly though, I hope you are happy, and I hope you are doing things that make you happy. I hope you have friends around you that builds each other up and supports each other. I hope you've stayed true to your values, remember to stand for what you believe in and not let the world change you, because then you wouldn't be you anymore, you would just be like everybody else. And I know you don't want to be just like everybody else.
Where are you right now? Are you still in New York City? Maybe you're in Seattle? San Francisco? Chicago? To be honest I'm happy as long as you're not in Los Angeles, I really hate LA with a passion. No matter where you are, make sure you keep in touch with all your friends, those relationships are some of the most valuable things you'll ever have, don't lose them just because you "got too busy".
